Why is it so? life is like a big race to me! i don't want it to be this way.. you keep moving fast, without paying any attention to the beauties around you! where are you running to? what are these all for? what do you want to change into? why do you have a 1 dimensional life? Im a human, with multi dimensions in my complicated soul, a 1 dimensional life cant please me, what can please you finally? would you name it please! i don't know! silly!

Our primary purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.Inside every person is a God-shaped vacuum. As we go through life we seek to fill this vacuum with things such as money, jobs, position, power ect... This always leaves us feeling empty inside because these things cannot fill the space that our Creator has made inside of us. However we are in a humanly impossible situation. We cannot approach God because we are sinners. Even if we are "good" people we are sinners because of the original sin of Adam. What can remove the stain of our sins so that we can approach and enjoy God? It is not many prayers, it is not self punishment, it is not sacrifice of animals or people. Instead God provided Himself as a sacrifice. He became a man (Jesus) and was tempted in every way as a man but did not sin. He lived a perfect life and then was crucified on a Roman cross and suffered the punishment for our sins. He then was raised back to life from the dead in a great display of God's power. Now He asks you to believe that what he has done can clease you of all of your sin and make you perfectly clean before Him. This enables you to know Him, to gloify Him and to enjoy Him forever. If you place your faith in Jesus' sacrifice it will be the beginning of eternal life. First here on earth and then forever with Him.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
He has changed me into a new person. Jesus has made me complete!

You are frightening our speedy girl. And anyway, do you have a special line with God? How do you know what He wants? Does He talk to you or do you obtain particulars from Him by mail?

Please allow this dear Georg. This is such a very meaningful and deep question concerning the soul. I am very thankful that I have been able to read this lovely journal and comments for so many months. As you well know our hostess does not seem the type to fright so easily, and anyway is it such a terrible thing to have a "line"(way to communicate)with God? This "line" is not special in an exclusive way. He has made clear what He wants, He wants to have a personal relationship with us. He wants us all to have a "special Line". When such a question is asked ("what can please you finally? would you name it please! i don't know!") how can I write anything other than what I know as the truth in response to such a one who has captured our attention and made us feel so welcome here? Thank you so much.
