Hi there Fatema, well come back. But I have this question in my mind, what are you for real? I mean when you put off that mask? Unmasked, you want to be more like…………. unveiled and loud, or, oh sorry just wondering. You seem to loathe your way of life so much. What ideal country or nation do you have in mind? Please don tell me “I don need the west” cause naturally you guyz are craving for “the west” way of life. Any ways, it is up to you guyz to catch up with the west. Look for ward to read your posts.
there are some parameters that show us how good and healthy a system (society- country- nation) is, i can name some of them, for example: equality, justice, freedom, welfare, education, strong economy, etc. these parameters dont belong to any special nation, not west not east, these are definitions of the quality of life. all countries, all governmental systems, should try to get as close as possible to these parameters. its clear that no country has been able to provide them 100% as we know there s no ideal thing in this world, but some countries are closer and some are further. west is closer i think. Iran is moving toward this goal, it still has a long way but we should try to accelerate this movement. WE, as members of this society, and not anybody else.
when i say women shouldnt be forced to wear hijab, it doesnt mean i crave for western countries, but i crave for freedom and equality.

Hiding behind a social mask isn't a "western" or "eastern" concept. You can easily find people pretending to be what they are not in London, Tokyo or Los Angeles just as well as in Tehran. The desire to live to the beat of one's own drum, so to speak, isn't geographic either. Everyone wants to do so but not everyone can particularly given social constraints such as in Iran. Someday it may be different but the younger generation has to press for change.
the west may have invented democracy, but iran invented human rights. courtesy of cyrus the great.

and i can mention alot more believe me, now you be the judge, we got all the american propaganda, and here is the anti-american view.
Americain imperialism meets islamic imperialism. To bad (?) Americain imperialists have aircraft carriers and islamic imperialists have not.
And a lot of articles, no doubt carefully selected to confirm certain prejudices.

hi, I'm happy to find another iranian write in english so before i begin to read your posts I decided to drop a line and give some support. keep up the good work! :)
about hejab: it's not about the being of something called hejab, it's just that women should be given the choice as to what they can wear. and about imperialism: i don't think you could put the name:america on what is known as "american imperialism", or islam on "islamic imperialism", because they both represent completley different ideologies from what they are named to be. i mean were in "americana", do we have:invade peoples countries, and kill without any reasonable excuse. i mean it totally disregards liberty and justice for all. and were in islam does it state: kill innocent bystanders in an underground subway just because they live in a country whose government just happens to be america's ally. in islam a person has absolutely no right to kill another human being, except in war. it's just outright unfair to both american and islamic communities
o00. I Just had to write something. Iran is i no way going towards democracy and equality, in the contrary its one of the few countries in the world today that is moving from it.
While other governments in both the region are taking few and carefull steps against democracy and civilrights, Iran is the only country taking huge steps from it.
One example is just the recent presidential elections, or why not the increasing imprisonment of political dissidents.
Hia Fatema, I'd been quite busy with nothing (like always) this post made me think (something i dont usually do). Good One, take care.

Freedom and Revolution in Iran are coming. This new independent blog should be a guideline. Good luck to all who fight the Islamic Regime.

Hi Fatemeh, I'm so happy to find your blog just today!! you have such a nice blog and a good english! you write pretty simple and understandable! about this hejab I just wanted to say that wearing Hejab as you know is a law determined by islam for all muslim women. now if we hate it I think its mostly because we dont know our religion well! I mean most of us , as shia muslims have never ever researched about islam and try to see whats it about, I mean we all have followed our parents, and they have followed their parents and so on.. so we were muslim since we were born because our parents were muslims and when we grow up we never go and read, search, ask.. etc to see what islam is really, whats the value of the thing that we are determined to do by islam. I mean there are many Sonni muslims that are REAL,and TRUE muslims while there is just a limited number of shias that are truely muslim!! most of the sonni muslims don't follow the old ones, they research and learn about islam and see if its really perfect or not and then they decide to accept it, and so they dont feel hatred and uncomfortable ;instead, they are happy for what they are doing for islam, wearing hejab and all that stuff. cuz they know it worthes it and that their religion is perfect and worthy and the best! I mean wearing hejab is not that annoying if we are a real muslim!!
Anyways, sorry that my comment was just so loooongg!!
Take care

Hello girl,
I have the link to your blog in my "favourites" and I check it from time to time for updates. It would have been nicer if you were writing more often. I come from one Balkan country, but my husband is Iranian. I have lived in Iran more than 2 years. I often miss Iran nowadays. I am always interested to hear about Iran, especially from Iranians. I was very happy to discover Iranian blogs in english on the net. It is a good chanel to express ones thoughts. Specially for Iran when the chanels are quite limited...
Best regards to you. And put your thoughts down on the site more often:))
hi fatema!my name is Fleur.I am a girl french student.
I want you said that me and my classroom,we have work on your blog,I find your blog very good, interressant and my english teacher was very impressionate for you.
bye (sorry for the error in english)
with or without the Hijab nth changes does it! this is just unmasking the superficial mask. The real mask is nowhere to be reached. It is beyond rules & regulations.
Yet agn in Iran many hide behind these covers & come up with a mask of sanity. I am not sure if men would be as interested in them without it. (mentally not any other aspect)

hi! i'm Eva, 28, from italy. i think i'm going to read your blog everyday (hope you'll update soon) and add it to my favourites.
i've always wanted to talk to people, especially women, from iran or any islamic country.
hello . .
i am writing this to thank you for your wonderful thoughts and to ask if there are places that are not so anonymous that you can be open about your thoughts.
I am moving to iran in a few months and i was curious what spaces are there for women and girls to take off those masks and open up. are there places like that outside of your home?
spaces for creativity and art and free flowing thought?

Not much to say besides the fact that coming to Register Better would be a good decision in regards to expired domain !
Everyone should have a look at Hijab it would be a good decision
I was looking at the picture you posted at the beginning of this post and it is so cute, the girl and the dog licking the ice cream!
hello, very nice girls :)
It is really nice to hear your discussion on specific topic here. I too agree with your points here. keep posting good blogs. Thanks.
